Manashosting Complaints - Inappropriate services

This complaint is against the poor hosting services provided by Manashosting. The services, though cheap, are incomplete and non-standard.

I bought a Java hosting package for INR2000 from Manashosting in January, 2008. For the first 1.5 years the services were crawling but I could manage somehow. Although, I raised various issues wherever necessary, there was no improvement. Things were fine until they replaced my service with some other software called "Plesk".

The change was incorporated WITHOUT my consent or permission. I was never asked, but just informed that this has been done. Upon using Plesk I found out that it was NOT appropriate for Java Hosting. There were a lot of problems and Manashosting suggested me NON-STANDARD solutions.

Till date I am requesting them to change back to the earlier software. For this too, they want me to pay INR 500. Why should I pay for their mistakes? This is Fraud. They had not taken any technical advice either, while changing to Plesk.

I do not ask for my money back, just that a better service be provided that at least meets my requirements. The change in service they gave was unsolicited.

Manashosting is the worst 3rd class web hosting in the world. They says that they have 99% consumer satisfaction.

but it suppose to 99% dissatisfaction. customer is worst, not hearing on complaints, have raise a complaint on January 2010. they there is not action taken place. every time they says that HELM CONTROL PANEL have some problem. they are worst people dont trust on there sales team what they says is 100% wrong.

Worst company i have seen " WITH NO SUPPORT AT ALL "

Even after raising the ticket they will NOT RESPONED to your mail.

Don’t register your domain name or Web Space from MANASHOTING.

Manas Hosting Complaints - Pathetic service

Hello

I have taken a 100 MB LINUX package for 5 years from Manas hosting.before paying money they talked too sweet and talked tooooo high of their services.
After paying the money, they took multiple confirmations giving repeated calls,that how did i pay, etc. then they sent mail saying how to configure the domain.

when we log into the control panel there is nothing we can do about domain. it says i am not authorised for subscriptions. then i talked to technical department, raised ticket, no progress. then again i talked and then they finally ask me to call one hyderabad no. and explain them the issue.

this guy just said its billing issue and it will be sorted out by them, next day, billing person says its tech problem. absolutely no co ordination.

finally they agreed there is some problem and assured me that the problem will be rectifies soon. its now more than 72 hrs of complain and no progress. it appears its bunch of incompetent people sitting in manas. If there is some serious issue they should convey the same.
no one shares information about senior guys in the organisation. web site just talks about 1 no. that is customer support which is PATHETIC if any word more worse than that.. then probably its more appropriate.

this evening when i call billing they are not willing to talk. technical team says nothing. it will be rectified you just keep watching the ticket status, sales guys say its not their problem.
there is no redressal, this is one organisation where there is no senior guys in the organisation. i guess its being run by so called customer support executives.

I raised a complaint at the so called feedback page , which is supposed to be seen by so called seniors, its rather more pathetic, more than 36 hrs passed, no one has even bothered to respond. you shout, scream, weep or do what ever, no one in MANASHOSTING is ever interested in resolving the issue. Can there by any thing worse than this in service industry.

I wished i checked these postings before buying hosting services from manashosting.
ONCE AGAIN PATHETIC SERVICE. AND GOD HELP THOSE GUYS WHO TRIED TO GIVE BUSINESS TO THIS MANAS HOSTING.

This is one company which harrasses the very same customers who have given them business. "jis thali me khaya usime ched kar diya" i guess this proverb suits these guys.

Manashosting - The worst hosting company- close this fraud company

Hello all, I want Manashosting to be closed as it is fraud company and has looted many customers.

I have got registered the domain name and taken plesk 15 GB plan from manashosting.
It has been more than 30 days that these guys do not reply nor solve the issue. Even contacting them from our own side they disconnect chat and call.

While taking package from them Ms. Vani (sales team member) told me that my package will support ASP.NET 3.5 and I will be provided the plesk control panel and I will be able to create and manage MS SQL 2005 within control panel but after taking package they did not provide any thing what they promised. I was provided PEM (not plesk) control panel which supports only MS SQL 2000, later their tech team told me that you are provided PEM and for MS SQL 2005 support you have to take plesk control panel. They changed the hosting server without any prior notice and my site stopped working and now they ask extra money for that.
Now sales team says that it will cost another Rs. 1000/- if you want MS SQL 2005 support, which is fraud with me because they told me that I will be provided plesk panel with my package itself.

Although I paid them Rs. 200/- (monthly) for new panel and it has been done more than 4 days but there is no any response. Now today their billing department (Ms. Bhavani) says that it is Rs. 500/- not 200/- so pay more and disconnects chat.

Every department is irresponsible and is looting to customers. They do not stick to their words and mis leading customers.

Their Technical department is greatest department in the industry of hosting, which never responds on chat, never receive online chat directly , always have to get transfer from other department but even after transferring chat it replies just 2 lines in 30 mins. (1. What is your ticket id 2. Please Wait)

It is matter of money and time as well. I request the moderators not to only suggest other hosting company but also get closed the Manashosting as it is fraud and has looted many more customers and still is looting many others.

I have proof where Ms. Vani committed that plesk 15 GB plan will support ASP.NET 3.5, if you want that I can provide a copy of that.

Guys today was the last day with manashosting , i was using manashosting since 5 years , and cannot explain how much trouble i got from them. but slowly i started to remove everything from manashosting , and today finally i removed last account hosted with them.

Why You shouldnt host with them.

1) all the hosting company in the world has automated process for purchase,renewal after making payment , but manashosting doesnt have.

2)Pathetic management , poor technical fellows , everything is just ” Sadak Chaap”

3)No values for customer loss.

4)No sense of Urgency, total ” Sarkari Kam ” and they are proud to follow this and always speaks a ” Raaga” like For Security Reasons.

Say No to Manashosting, Give the money to beggers but dont give to them.

no support

they take time to answer your querrys.

Manas hosting : attractive offers.. cheap prices.. very good high end promises.. but nothing kept.. bad service.. took a week to activate the account.. solutions for problems and queries takes minimum of 10 to 15 days.. nobody picks the customer support tech numbers during office hours.. technically they never understand what you explain.. servers are always down.. you will rarely connect to ftp.. website uptime is always poor..

believe me.. who ever is giving positive feedback about manashosting is working for them and are their own staff..

Manashosting dont know anything on earth wats happening in their server or to their customers.. im sure there are only couple of guys for the whole customer support

Money issue and pathetic customer service

I am facing a lot of problem because of manashosting. I order for a domain transfer (www.udie.org) and a webspace. Under their offer..they were offering these two things for just Rs. 2000..wherein I will get 3 months of webspace and domain name. I made the payment through ICICI online banking. It has been a month, I havent received the ftp details yet.When I called Manashosting they said they havent received the payment. After running so long, they suggested me to go to CC Avenues and get the proof regarding the payment. I did that. I sent all the details and the snapshot of the payment to transfer@manashosting.com. But there is no revert till now. I have been harassed like anything. Customer service guys disconnect the call and talk to us to rudely. Its my client's domain. He is after my life. I really dont know what to do. I tried all the possible ways. I might have wasted more that a 1000 bucks by calling manashosting...and precious time. But of no help. Still I am stuck with things. Please help me.

Run away from Manashosting. They are just petty online crooks out to get easy money from the web. Looking out to cheat poor victims...

Their support is non existent... their phone support is stupid and their service is the shittiest I have had the misfortune to experience. After raising a million tickets my website is still not up after i month.

Bought the site from manashosting in December 15th and today the 14th January, they tell me that the site is being redirected to google and have sent me an email to correct the problem asap!!! MY FOOT!!!

Dont go with Manashosting

Though (because) I am one of the user of Manashosting services, I DONT recommend this hosting service. I too was drawn away by its cheap package. But since I had not taken reviews from others, I bought their package. Also my website project was a bit experimental and so I didnt mind slow speed.

There are various reasons for my comments.
First and foremost, they are very slow in hearing you. Whatever means you use, online chatting, email tickets, etc your querry doesnt get prompt response.
Secondly their control panel is Doome panel. It takes ages to make changes. Also the HELM control panel itself is not fool-proof. Many a times it show me various packages which are not included in my package deal.
Also the server remains down for for a long time and even the ftp takes ages for uploading/downloadin on 1MB broadband connection.
Third, they dont provide any SEO tools and from control panel. It simply remains inactive icon. They provided me with 5000 web templates but even these templates are only about 100 or so. They gets repeated as you scroll deeper.
Fourth their own website is not completely developed. A lot of pages are still underconstruction or "comming soon".
So what can you expect from such hosting provider who cannot manage their own sites.

The moral of this is only in one line.

A client recently got an email, apparently coming in from Manas Hosting asking for “…. all ur domain names, controlpanel url, login ID paswd of ur domains + secret key / authentication code ….“.

The client is in the process of transferring his domain name and hosting to my Website Solutions firm viz. CREAIMA (formerly mailnspace) and therefore called me up to inquire about this mail. Fortunately, he isn’t naive to fall for this trick. But this is just to warn all those who own domain names and/or websites. BEWARE! Do not fall for such tricks.

Here’s the full text of the mail - VERBATIM. Check out the spellings and grammer. I wanted to preserve the formatting (and colour combination) of the mail as well. But it was would spoil the decency of my blog. I therefore resisted the temptation.

Buck up guys! People are getting more net-savvy! Such tricks no longer work.

There is one very objectionable thing that I noticed at a few forums. Whenever there is a thread with negative reviews of this hosting company, there is always some posts by newly registered users that praise their services! Do they think most people are idiots? I will not be surprised if I find such comments on this post as well!

A month back we had launched our site: http://donateyourpc.in, which was doing awesome. More than 12 volunteers and more than 10 donation in 15 days. And suddenly the site was done. It is still down because of the hosting company called manashosting. Initially we thought its a good place to host the site. Then after we got lot many problem with these guys, now site is down from last 10 days. And no action taken after 16 phone calls and from past 10 days. Bloody Money eaters !

OK. First off, all the reviews below this one might have some good opinion. But, I have been in the hosting and web development business for several years and let me just tell you this, trusting Manas Hosting on your web hosting needs is the BIGGEST mistake you can make.

I was with them through their initial seed stages and everything seemed fine for a while. But, they just couldn't handle the servers. They claim to have a very reliable system but that is all trash talk. In its initial stages, if you had a problem (which would be almost every 3-7 days), you could call up someone and talk to them personally to get it fixed. However, that is not the case now. You have to go through their support team who are incapable of comprehending even the "smallest" of issues. They do not have any knowledge of web hosting and speak like robots that are pre-programmed to answer only specific questions. Ask them anything a little more advanced and somehow the phone gets disconnected or you receive a simple reply "I will redirect the issue and it will be solved tonight". And tonight never arrives for them. Even a week later.

I also had a reseller account with them and hosted my clients' websites there (I am a web developer). My clients frequently complained of their emails not working and the surprisingly long downtimes. Their website claims to have 99.99% up time. This is not true.

They will lure you with LOW prices and HIGH specifications such as unlimited space and bandwidth. My sincere suggestion is to leave this behind and host your site with someone like Media Temple (my current host) or Aplus or 1and1. Go for someone with an international footprint and a NAME. Even if that means that you won't get 1TB of space. Trust me, for an average business website, 50-200 MB would suffice.

Choose your poison. I will change this review to a positive one if I notice SIGNIFICANT changes at Manas. Until then, even I am disappointed. I usually hate putting up bad reviews. I just can't help it this time (imagine how much I would have gone through).

Just want to warn others in case they get a similar email to the one I got from manashosting.net.in. I've never registered a domain with them and never would judging by their reputation online, when I asked them which domain they came back to me with one of mine which contrary to what they stated is not due for renewal. They are engaging in domain phishing, beware.

Very poor service from ManasHosting

I had registered for the manashosting 5 domain linux plan . Still after making the payment and called them more than 30 times ,my account is not active. Manashosting is one of the worst service provider. Finally i was able to have chat with the Manashosting techincal team . They had no idea how to activate my account . Even one of the manashosting executive was asking me about my password . I dont know what kind of service they provide and when I asked them why they need my password. They told me ther e mail server is not working for week and they want to login into my account. Manashosting service really sucks. I have saved the two chat conversation with manashosting executive. I am posting the chat on this forum .So that no one can get trapped into such a situation.There plan may look attractive but there service is pathetic . I would say no service thats because I have not got my account activated. I have asked them to terminate the plan and to revert back my money. Lets see how these manashosting people provide service to this request

Bad experience from Manashosting

i am hosting my dishnews forum and some blogs in the indian webhosting provider manashosting.My domain name is medianetwork.co.in.My forum attracts less traffic around 500 pageviews per day.Also, i use some of subdomains for my blogs, which attracts no traffic.

My hosting package details are Linux 2gb webspace, 10gb monthly bandwidth.For past 10 months, my site only consumes 15%bandwidth/month.

i am experiencing several frequent site down problems (particularly 4th time in last six days).Because of frequent site downs, i am facing several problems to improve my site position in google search.Two days back(7th may 2008) i got an email from manashosting with a recommendation to use dedicated server since my site uses more bandwidth resources.

Since that my site redirected to a page which shows the following message " This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible".

Then i contacted their support department via chat option given manashosting site.Their CC officer did not aware this problem.

He informed me to contact billing department through raising support tickets option via their site.Then i raised 4 tickets with emergency status and send several emails to them. So far 36 hours passed, no response for my support tickets,still they are open status.No response for my emails too.

Yesterday morning (8th may 2008), i contacted their support department.This time they told me to provide cpanel id, password, my email id and gave assurance to solve my problem.No action till evening.

Then again i contacted their support department on evening.This time also they told me to provide cpanel id, password, my email id and gave assurance to solve my problem.What pathetic service from manashosting?I am running my forums in this account with very little traffic.How can it consume more resources?My site url http://www.dishnews.medianetwork.co.in/

Without my knowledge they have changed me to new plesk server and informed me to upload backuped files and provided new cpanel login id and password.

Now i am seriously thinking to move other hosting providers.

South Indians are well versed in English and technically very sound but Manashostingwalas are exception. Have a look at their written English, “Dear sir, YOu haven't paid the parking charge which amount you paid that is domain renewal pricefor domain parking you need to pay rs 100 if you are using limited offer or rs 300 ifyou are using unlimited offer.rajivmanashosting”

Well Behaved!

They are very well behaved and courteous. They treat all the callers as their neighborhood friends. Yes they don’t mind whether you are making STD calls or ISD calls. They will respond in same relaxed manner as if they are talking with someone face to face!

Technologically Advanced!

Yes they are so advanced technically that they themselves are unable to match with their head! If you have some issue with them u need to raise a ticket. But you might ask what is their advantage as other service providers too follow the same system. But here is a catch! Others are stupid as they have to track the problem taking all pains. But http://www.manashosting.com/ professionals are free from those pains as they never follow the tickets!

I registerd two domains with manashosting sspmj.co.in and wavehealing.co.in. since registration i face contineous down time and very bad customer care support. the suddenly stop there service of plesk control panel. so i suggest u never register with manashosting.

Manashosting hosting own site at GoDaddy!

Well, manashosting is telling , they are the top3 hosting provider in India. They will be having at least 5 servers.

I said the same thing also, that you guys are telling (against me). manashosting is hosting their main site on GoDaddy because their own dedicated server go down frequently , ( telling from my own experience, I have had a 2GB shared windows hosting(because I dont have windows servers) with them before 2 years). So, their dedicated servers are going down frequently, thats why they moved their main site to godaddy.

The most funny part I saw was that, They put the host-tracker and siteuptime logo, with 99.9% uptime report on their main site!! Actually the uptime report was for their main site, which is hosted on godaddy server.

Also, the support staffs are not professionals , when we ask some serious questions, they will give some numbers and are tell us to call for an answer.

Before many months, they offered unlimited package for Rs2000 per year, I asked the server configuration.The sales/support guy dont even know the server configuration. I asked about the hard disk .After 1 hr, he answered me it is 100GB hard disk. I still dont know who make 100gb hard disk for manashosting.

Another thing, I purchased a windows hosting before 2 year. I paid only for a year, but the package and all the files are still there, I can access control panel still now. They dont even have a record of their customers and packages.

Just came accross this blog and thought of saying that I too had extremely bad experience with manashosting. I had my large business site hosted here and I lost so many dollars due to downtimes at manashosting. I too moved to a different host now.

Clearly you are either a paid employee at Manashosting or are totally unaware of what a server downtime is.. Believe me, when I say that manashosting is the crappiest hosting service I’ve ever seen. You’re better hosting your site on your own PC rather than having it at manashosting.

" Manashosting is one of the most horrible webhosting company I have ever seen. Please please avoid this hosting company. The website would be down once in a week and for upto 72 hours no one would be there to bring services up.

No support during evening or night or till afternoon and support would mostly would be offline during day time. Lowest quality support personnel.

Also when I asked why I am not getting support then I got response from support that from this cheap amount how much can you expect? This is last thing one can expect from a hosting comapny. I am moving my site to another hosting company now. "

Manashosting is one of worst hosting company in the world, although manashosting is the cheapest one.

If your website plays important role in the growth of your company, my suggestions is that you can not rely on manashosting.

They provide loads of service at low cost like MS SQL Server, My Sql, MS Access PHP, ASP, ASP.NET 1.1, ASP.NET 2.0 etc, but these services are very slow. If your website is static then it is okay, but If you are using batabase like MS SQL Server then your website will take long time to load, because They have created more than 500 MS SQL Server database on a single server with low configuration, thats why MS SQL Server is running slow and website will have to wait longer and longer.

Me and my friends are using manashosting since 10-11 month, but now I am planning to change our hosting company.

Manashosting do not have the basic infrastructure not even a toll free number, but they boast of being the second best web hosting company in india.
They do not have the competent technical support.
They do not provide 24 hours support.
They were not picking the phone in the office hours and many more.

Manashosting is a crap web hosting company.

We had purchased a web hosting account from manashosting.com seeing their advertisement that they are India number 3 hosting but seen that nothing like that exists actually

1 ) Their support team is just for time pass ( no one answers specifically all will redirect you to take diversion to another one )

2) Tech support phone number guy normally wont take the phone or just answer that it will be rectified

3) If you try to contact them over online chat its totally waste they will give phone number or ask you to mail, if you do you wont get answer even after decades.

4) we got following issues PHP not installed, mail server fails frequently, web site builder not installed, after 4 days we had seen that what ever we tried to do its saying that server not accesible or denied.

We tried to contact them for 10 days nothing happened till now.

Any one got experience with manashosting.com ?

We already had one acount in that they told email id is 100mb limited but some superman tech guy created that as 100 KB we are writing them for 6 months, calling them chat , no response.

Dont get fooled by their promotions, check 10 times before going for them.

Worst hosting company ever

I signed up as a Manas Hosting reseller about year ago. Till today they have not sent me the user name and password to log into their control panel. I have sent them dozens of emails and I have even triedspeaking to them over the phone - but they have not responded in any positive way.

After a year when my domains expired I could not even renew them. This company blocked my account and told me to use the control panel. I tried to tell them that they had not sent me the username and password for the control panel but with no success. Ultimately I had to move my domains to another hosting provider.

They use one cellphone number for all thier contacts - finance, customer support, billing - everything has one single number! This means that they probably have 2-3 employees who do everything. The employees who are handling customers can not speak or write in English so if you try thier services best of luck communicating with them.

Manas Hosting has some very cheap hosting packages but if you ever sign up with them - keep your fingers crossed and best of luck- they will never answer your emails and even if they do - they employ people who have no knowledge of English so you will not be understand their emails.You will have to wait for years tio get service. So Istrongly urge you - do not ever do business with Manas Hosting - www.manashostin.com - they are frauds - you will regret it like i am regreting it - every day

Get away from them, the biggest cheaters i have ever seen

They give you the space and bandwidth but with so slow speed that it takes months to upload 1 gb.

I bought 2gb webspace and domain name with manashosting, after paying by credit card for 2 days i didnt got any official mail from them, enven they didnt replied my emails except auto responders. After 3 days finally they activated my hosting and domain but didnt gave me control panel for domain. The domain was registered with their name only.

The next process was to upload my content, the claimed uptime and performance didnt worked out in my case it took about a whole day for uploading my 20 mb content of website. The website is offline for about 1-2 hours a day.

After a long time the website started working but with a very slow processing and data speed. It takes about 4-5 seconds for generating a page from php script as compared to .1 - .2 seconds in my previous hosting. And now the dont pick up my phone, dont reply to my emails and no technical support. They also refuse my online chat request.

So this is the fact, no body give anything for low price. Be far from them.

My domain has been suspended by "Manas Hosting", Banglore, India. I had purchased space from "Manas Hosting" before two months. still now its not activated. From two months I am chatting with them and contacting by mobile. They are arising different issues. First they said that I had not paid. I submit all payment details more that 10 times. Now they are telling that I am spamming. Even my website yet not started.You can check my domain name netwayy.com Now what action can I take ? I will spent more than the money spent for purchasing the space. But the I will not leave the cheaters Like "Manas Hosting"Please suggest me what to do ?
